On the reverse side, write all the good effects of giving up smoking.

On the other side of the paper, list all the positive benefits of your stopping smoking. Keep it with you and when you are beset by a very bad craving, read the list to bolster your resolve. Rid your environment of all the things that remind you of smoking. Do away with your ashtrays, lighters and any cigarettes that you have around the house.

An important step is to throw away all your smoking accessories. Throw or give away your ashtrays, your lighters and get rid of any packs of cigarettes that you might have stashed away for emergencies. Inform your family and friends of the fact that you want to stop smoking and ask them for their support.
